Waitlist Terms

These terms cover the Styde waitlist at styde.app. Joining it is the only thing this site does, and submitting your email address means you accept what follows. How we handle your data is a separate document — see the Privacy Policy.

There is no product yet

Styde is in development. There is nothing to download, nothing to sign into and no service being provided to you. Everything described on the landing page is what we intend to build: features may change substantially, and the product may never ship at all. Nothing on this site is a commitment to deliver any particular feature by any particular date.

Joining does not guarantee access

We invite people in waves and decide who to invite. A place on the list is not a queue position, not a reservation and not a promise of access — earlier or later, free or paid. We may close the waitlist, or open access to people who never joined it.

Nothing to pay

Joining is free. We do not ask for payment details and there is nothing here to buy. If Styde later has paid plans, they will come with their own terms, which you would have to accept separately — being on this list never enrols you in anything that costs money.

What we ask of you

• Use an email address that is yours and that you can receive mail at.
• One signup per person. Don’t script the form, submit in bulk, or add someone else’s address.
• Don’t attempt to break the site, work around its rate limits, or interfere with the providers behind it.

We may remove any signup that looks automated or abusive, without notice and without explanation. This is not a service you are paying for, so there is no account to lose.

Emails you will get

Joining means we may email you about early access, the launch, and the product itself. We don’t sell or rent the list, and we don’t email you on anyone else’s behalf. Every message carries an unsubscribe link, which takes effect immediately; if you also want your contact deleted, the Privacy Policy says how.

The waitlist can change

We may change, pause or cancel the waitlist, and we may change these terms. When we change them we update the date at the top of this page. Because nothing here is a paid service, changes take effect when they are published — if you don’t accept them, unsubscribe.

What is on this site belongs to us

The Styde name, the copy, the design and the code on this site belong to [registered company name] and are protected by copyright and trade mark law. You are welcome to link to the page and to quote it in commentary or press; you may not copy the design or present it as your own.

No warranty

The site is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. We aim to keep it available and accurate, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free or that the information on it is complete. Limitation of liability
